Northern White Cedar Log Boarder. Absolutely gorgeous, solid, strong, heavy duty, naturally rot and splinter resistant. Logs have been domed on each end, sanded and notched to form interconnection. 3/4 hole through each boarder accept the 24" galvanized anchor stake. Logs frequently have non structural cracks called checking, which adds to the organic character of the boarders. These boarders are typically used with up to 8" of loose fill material, tapered off towards the edges. Northern White Cedar Log Boarder. Absolutely gorgeous, solid, strong, heavy duty, naturally rot and splinter resistant. Logs debarked and then slightly plained on one side, then stacked two high in a staggered pattern. This design allows them to overlap the next border to form awesome free form patterns which will contain up to 12" of loose fill material when tapered off towards the edges. The ends of each log have been bull nose rounded to a dome shape which allows them to marry up nicely to form organically shapped angles. They are lag together with log home super strong lag screws and then held firm in the middle with a 24" button head landscaping spike. Logs frequently have cracks called checking, which adds to the organic character of the boarders.
